It is a Singer 201-2 with reverse feed, a built on motor (Gear Drive - "Potted Motor") and an added knee lifter so that the machine can be used in a "semi- or light-industrial" setting by what Singer called an Artisan. This was mounted in an industrial table. T he table is not included, machine head only.
It was marketed as a Dressmaker's machine. The 201-2/1200 model have a unique direct drive gear mechanism for the underbed transfer of power to the shuttle.
The machine was cleaned, oiled, Lubricated, polished and detailed to bring out it's original beauty and tested. The light works and the wires are good.
